Description
MCS ASP server is the revolutionary next generation secured Multipoint Conferencing Unit (MCU) designed for Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Application Service Provider (ASP). MCS ASP Server is the server module for Mlabs innovative RSW Control Criteria, whereby bandwidth for mutipoint video conference is kept to a minimal level. User can even start a multipoint video conference session using an ADSL connection. Also, the server comes with the Multiple LAN IP Converter (MLIC) modules that incorporate the Mlabs award winning NAT and Firewall Traversal Technology and unicast to multicast converter. Mlabs award winning NAT and Firewall Traversal Technology allows MCS video conference to work behind all kinds of Network Address Translation (NAT) & firewall. Compared to conventional H.323 technology, MCS ASP server comes with unique licensing model that will value add services provided by ISP to their customers.
Features
Mlabs patented RSW Control Criteria technology enables unlimited user to join to a MCS conference at anytime with minimal bandwidth requirement. Bandwidth is no more a major issue for multipoint conference!
Combined with our patented Server-to-Server technology, user could experience a true multipoint to multipoint videoconference with friction of bandwidth requirement needed compare to conventional video conference solution in the market.
Network Address Translation (NAT) is always the big stumbling block for running real time multimedia conference. This is due to the connectionless nature of UDP based video and audio stream. Using Mlabs award winning NAT and Firewall Traversal Solution, MCS could run perfectly behind all kind of NAT, including Symmetrical NAT.
Compared to conventional H.323 based videoconference uses unicast technology, MLIC optimize the video and audio delivery system by using multicast technology. MLIC is a network layer module that converge the multicast video and audio traffic from local LAN and unicast video and audio traffic from WAN and redistribute it using the RSW Control Criteria. MLIC solution is best to bridge between point to point based and broadcast based network technology, especially satellite-based IP network.
MCS real time Document Conference editing enables user to collaborate online using the Microsoft Word and Excel. Also, user could share a wide range of files such as Flash, Video, Microsoft Power Point, PDF, website, etc. With Document Conference, every user will get the actual copy of files. Mlabs patent pending Document Conference Server technology effectively manage and control the Document Conference session on multiple distributed sites.
