The Mlabs flagship software product is the Multimedia Conferencing System (MCS), which is substantially less expensive and more flexible than any other similar system currently available in the market. Since its commercial debut in 1996, MCS has reached milestones such as winning PIKOM's IT Product of the Year 1999 and receiving "patent pending" status from the US Patent and Trademark Office in 2000. MLabs has also won a Merit Award presented at the APMITTA Awards of 2000 in March 2001. At this time MCS is already being used in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Australia, USA, Japan, UAE and Libya.
Over the last 10 years, Mlabs has grown from a small startup to a public listed company, marketing its products worldwide. It is one of the few entity at the forefront of Malaysia's drive to become a global technology player with its ground-breaking multimedia conferencing system.
The widespread vote of confidence for Mlabs as a technology organization is also evident in its other achievements. Examples include its qualification for MSC status in December 1998, receiving an IGS (Industrial Grant Scheme) award for its timely delivery of R&D outcomes, and securing the equity participation of MSC Venture Corporation in September 2000.
Both research & development and customer service continue to be part of Mlabs life. With its market orientation, customers and partners can expect more system enhancements and new products in the pipeline as well as excellent customer service.
